What is Wizard World Gaming?
How do I attend Wizard World Gaming?
There are 2 ways to attend. The first way is our Wizard World Gaming Pass. This pass grants you access the the Gaming floor ONLY. The second way is our Wizard World Pass which grants you complete access to the entire convention including gaming.
How do I register for your tournaments?
Tournament registration is available for every gaming city through our website. Click to register now if you are a ticket holder. This is the best way to secure a spot in any specific tournament of your choosing. Online registration typically closes one week before the event. If you didn't register online, you still have a chance to do so on-site, but space is extremely limited.
How much does it cost to enter a tournament?
All of our Wizard World Gaming tournaments are free of charge to all Wizard World and Wizard World Gaming attendees. The only requirement to enter the tournament is to have admission to the show.
Do I have to bring my own controller?
It is highly recommended that anyone participating in our tournaments brings their own controller. We do have controller available for rent on-site, but supplies is extremely limited. Please do not allow this to be the reason for a Disqualification.
How many days do the tournaments go on for?
In a 3 day show, Friday is open for on-site registration and casual or exhibition type tournaments. The major tournaments to begin until Saturday morning with the finals ending on Sunday.
Do I have to purchase multiple passes to participate every day?
If you've purchased a Wizard World Gaming or Wizard World weekend pass, you're all set for both days. If you've only purchased a one day pass for Saturday and have advanced to the finals, you automatically get Sunday admission to compete. Admission is given to the finalist only.
How can I find out what pool I'm in if I already registered?
Programming, Streaming, and Tournament schedules typically go up 2 weeks prior to the show. If you've registered more than 2 weeks in advance, you will not see your pools until the last two weeks before the show.
How old do I have to be to participate in your tournaments?
This is all based on the game and tournament you are looking to participate in. Most of our tournaments are for all ages. If you are under the age of 16, you need a parent or legal guardian to register you for any tournaments unless specified in specific tournament rules.
